Hey, happy diwali..
I want to know that my spectacle power is -4.5. I m unable to read even 6/60 means the biggest letter with aid. After aid it gets clear , so am I eligible for low vision disability certificate? And if yes by how much 10, 20, 40 etc?
Please reply, as I have to apply for a job and my career is at stake 🥺🥺😭😭

Hello,
Visual disability means the vision is not likely to improve with any modality like glasses, surgery, etc. If so, thene depending on the vision of your better seeing eye, the disability % is calculated.
Next Steps
Since your vision improves with glasses, you will not be eligible for disability certification.

Hello sir.....d general rules for low vision disability considers vision not improving with anyaod..
So u won't be eligible for dat..
But d ultimate decision depends on d department u r applying and d concerned government which gives u d certificate... private practioners certificate is not valid..u need to visit d concerned government hospital for a detailed check up...
As for my experience if ur vision improves , der may not be any disability certificate dat can be given.
