Low sodium level
My father has been admitted to a hospital for severe weakness. He is unable to stand and has been talking incoherently. From the report the following are known: Fever of 101-102F in the night and early morning Blood sugar level: 60 in fasting and 200 in PP Sodium level of 135 He is a diabetic for 30 years. And lately has had minor fluid leak in the brain due to a mild haemorrhage. Please help me with an estimated time for him to improve his sodium level so that his mental balance becomes normal? We are willing to wait for him to regain his fitness level but are concerned about his mental condition.
