Low s ferritin levels n pale skin
I got checked for s ferritin n it was really low 7.04. my face n chest skin look really pale whereas my hands and legs look 3-4 shades brighter n white. my doc gave me iron tablets for 3 months n its over. she suggested me to get the test done one more time n then if iron not increased continue the pills for another 3 months. my question is my pills for 3 months is over but there's no improvement in the paleness. Also why is this paleness only on my face n chest skin. it looks really dark due to this n kinda feels wierd. How to subside this paleness fast.

Hi Any problem or any medical condition for that matter doesn't develop all of a sudden or overnight...in the same way even the treatment, rectification, recovery and healing process does take even more time ... As healing, recovery are very slow processes...but are long lasting once it's done completely..but maintainence is another important thing to consider once we are out of it completely..and we doesn't want the relapse to occur again.. So kindly trust the process and have your medications regularly as per your doctors advise and suggestions..as it's very important to overcome the condition relating to low ferritin or iron levels..
Next Steps
please check with doctor thoroughly whether the underlying cause has been identified properly in your case or not... otherwise..take opinions with doctors..and accordingly proceed further incase if you don't have any kind of feel good factor.. in your case.. but kindly not to neglect and be in continuous touch with your doctor in your case...and strictly follow doctors advise... iron is something which is really important for ladies especially for that matter..
Health Tips
have well balanced diet,  all seasonal fruits and vegetables, dark green leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds, dry fruits, bananas are power house of iron, fresh dates, raisins etc...for increasing iron levels..
