Low platelets post covid
Is it possible to get thrombocytopenia post covid. My father had covid on April 15th. He was given blood thinner due to high d dimer. Post blood thinners his platelets have fallen to 68000 earlier count was 168000. D dimer is normal now. How to increase hemoglobin and platelets quickly. Currently he is prescribed Dexorange syrup by the treating doctor. Please suggest if this syrup will help.

Yes that syrup helps in improving blood cell count. Take a lot of pomegranates.  They also help in increasing blood cell count. But keep checking for any bleeding ( gum bleeding / bleeding under the skin- red patches / blood in urine ) . If there is any bleeding manifestation take him to his doctor immediately.
