Sudden low back pain, this is happening repeatedly in last three years, severe pain, cannot stand immediately when seated and vice versa. Whom should I consult? Ortho or neurologist

It could be lumbar spondylosis. You may need imaging after a detailed neurological evaluation. Get a neurological consultation as early as possible. Best regards.
