I had a polypectomy done one week ago to remove a polyp from my intestine. It was 8 cm above from my anus. It was in rectum. After the procedure the next day i had lots of mucus in stool and very little amount of blood and i started having 4-5 drops of blood everyday n today i had alott of blood in my stool... My biopsy report is ( villous adenoma with moderate dysplasia) i don't know what to do now..m please help me... Is lot of blood normal in stool after polypectomy?

Do not panic. Consult the primary doctor who had removed the polyp. Blood in stool is not normal. Need to know whether it is fresh blood or altered. There are medicines to control bleeding and good endoscopy intervention. Report says it is a precancerous condition and base is free.
