Losing memory
My mother is 60 years old a diabetics patient and now a days she is losing her memory and control on her body she does not know and urine comes, she can't remember who is he/she, she forget everything like she has how many child, what is she doing, she always feel fear etc.. please suggest me what kind of doctor should I contact because this time she is taking diabetics medicine which is prescribed by a MBBS doctor.

Hello,
Significant impairment in memory, bodily functions, and other symptoms as described by you here are suggestive of cognitive impairment like dementia. Background of daibetes makes her more prone to such problems. However this is a preliminary impression, a detailed clinical history, relevant physical and neurological examination, and some investigation including blood and MRI will be needed to be sure and rule out other possibilities. Hence my suggestion for you is to seek a consultation with a neurologist or a psychiatrist near you. Please do not delay in getting consultation as delay can lead to complications.
