LOOSE STOOLS AFTER AZITHROMYCIN
I was prescribed with Azithromycin (Azithral-500) 0-1-0 x 3 days along with Vizylac for strep throat but after the first dosage itself I was having loose stools and flatulence. I did not stop the medication and completed my course, however my loose stools are still persisting, is this happening because of the antibiotics ? If yes what should I do

It may be a case that you may be intolerant to Azithromycin. If the symptoms of strep throat have resolved, it'll probably take a day or two to be normal. Keep yourself hydrated. Consult if and when needed.
