My 1 year baby is having loose stool for more than 10 days. Given antibiotics for 5 days .
Still she is having 4 to 5 times a day. Compare than earlier some what better now, but it's not stopped fully.
But she is active...
My doctor advised me to stop milk for a week. But she used to take milk .. she won't give up that..
Please let me know what to do next
Shall I wait for some more days or need to go for hospital again..

Usually if loose stool persist for more than 14 days it is called persistent diarrhoea. Usually one of the main cause in otherwise healthy child is lactose intolerance or maybe infection indused secondary lactose intolerance.
