Looks like my father is in depression.
My bad for asking such a silly question. I feel like my father is in a deep depression. Even he feels it sometimes. My question is whom should i consult to? A Psychologist , A Psychiatrist or A Psychotherapist? And why is that?

I would say meet a psychiatrist- geriatric depression is a commonly encountered issue- and a psychiatrist would be the best person to judge if it is indeed depression or whether there is an underlying memory issue contributing to the depressive symptoms. A psychiatrist will also be able recommend certain investigations to rule out any vascular causes of depression. Once your father is seen by a psychiatrist he may then be prescribed medication/ referred to a therapist or both.
