Looking for one advice from all doctors
My age is 31. As I was in fertility treatment for last couple of months, I was taking progesterone supplements (Duphaston 10mg) on second part of cycle. Post stopping that medication, I am getting some irregularities in my cycle & mid cycle spotting/bleeding etc.. It seems it might be due to suddenly stopping progesterone supplements and I believe it might take sometime to get back to normal cycle without progesterone supplements. But for that I have to stop medication all together. When I changed my doctor, she said as I am planning to conceive, I should focus on that first and for that I should take progesterone supplements. My question to all of you respected doctors that shall I continue to take progesterone supplements now ? Or first stop all medication and get the cycle regular & then plan for pregnancy? Please give your suggestions. My doctor did not communicate to me well. So only I am here with lots of hope to get a good suggestion from all of you. Thanks in advance.

We can’t exactly predict the hormonal changes .. just wait and watch approach.. and if you are trying to conceive , u can continue progesterone.. don’t worry for a single menstrual cycle change..so just wait ..

Stopping progesterone supplements do not lead to irregularity in your periods You need investigations to find out the reason
