Liver problem?
If the doctor presses the right side of the abdomen and the patient has pain, does it mean hepatomegaly? My doctor performed this test and diagnosed hepatomegaly without asking to go for usg. Does right side pain on pressing signify liver enlargement? Thank you

The doctor might have felt the enlarged liver on palpation..and correlated with your symptoms...
Next Steps
if he was sure of hepatomegaly .. he's rite ..to avoid unnecessary money spending on tests..
