Liver Function Test Results
Hi. In a recent annual checkup, one of my lab values was out of normal range on my metabolic panel. My AST level was 35 (lab range of 0-33). My ALT was also 35. Is this AST value concerning from a physician's POV? I'm really confused here as a quick Google search shows that the normal range for AST is 10-40u/l. Sources of this include the Mayo Clinic. I'm a 29 year old male living in Texas. Any feedback here would be greatly appreciated as it has me worried.
