Namaste, To assess the extent of damage an eloborate investigation is required . But you should take care of patient’s diet . If the appetite is reduced and if there is an impairment in digestion as per ayurveda guidelines it is not advisable to give food that is heavy for digestion . So to begin with soup prepared with meat can be given . This needs to be followed up an elaborate consultation with an Ayurveda physician .
Next Steps
You could start with Ayurveda hepatotonics such as Tab Liv 52 DS
