Liver cyst in 6 month baby
Hi Doctor My niece has liver cyst, she is 6 months old now... When she is born doc told those will go away by themselves... Just to confirm we did scanning today but unfortunately report came with liver cyst became bigger... I have attached the report... Local Doc told that surgery is needed.. But because of corona we are not able to go to the hospital where we have shown her... We are tensed, want to clarify whether the surgery is needed??... Withinn how many days we need to get it done surgery??, will the baby bear the surgery pain?.. Is there any laser treatment??.. .. Will there be any complications after the surgery??.. Please help me in clarifying these... Thank you so much

If it is increasing it is not good... According to reports they are 2 in number.... And are quit big for 6 mths old (as per dimension in report) If surgery is not possible due to corona pandemic... One can try a course of antibiotics.... FNAC and surgery can be decided by an operating Pediatric surgeon only
