Liver cirrhosis
SIR, my uncle of age 56 was diagnoised with liver cirrhosis due to hepatitis B virus, he has diabetes also. All the liver function tests are normal at present and no symptoms of advanced cirrhosis at now. Hep-b viral count is 60000 COPIES/ML. Is that virus count can be reduced by medication? how long can be survive from present stage without liver transplant on an average?
