Lisfranc complex dislocation, fracture
Hi sir/ mam !!!    I met with an road accident, with no mistake on my side, as a bike hit me directly perpendicular, once into hospital, thus my left foot got dislocated with fracture...month back leg was operated, fixed with Kwires and a screw...as of now doctor advised me for the removal of kwires in the 8th week. My concern are :- 1. How long will this injury takes me bear full load ?? 2. I feel a pickings pain on few Kwire spots post 1month of Operation,why ? 3. Care to be taken, for getting back my joints ?? * 1month review xray attached. Thanking you, your words mean a lot to me .

Hello Lisfranc injuries are a complex fracture. It's normal to feel pain at the k wire site . But need to watch out for any pain swelling or discharge from the site. Kindly follow your treating doctors advice as suggested about the weight bearing once the fracture is healed based on the x ray.
