they are abnormal accumulation of fat..as they are multiple only surgical removal is needed for large ones causing cosmetic problem or if causing pain..
they don't subside with medical management..leave it alone

Lipoma are nothing but the fatty tissue aggregations, for lipoma whether single/ multiple lipomatosis only option is surgical excision. As its multiple not advised for removal of the all but the more prominent one/ cosmetic purposes.
