Lipid test
Hi dr, recently I checked my lipid profile and this is finding.. total cholesterol 213, HDL 38, LDL 138.4, vldl 36.6 and tryglyceride 183, it is high shall I worry for my heart health ?? Or only regular excersise and walk and food change will help ?? Also one physician gave me roliptin 5mg to have it for 3 month to reduce cholesterol. But I am afraid to take this medicine as once I stopped it may increase cholesterol again and I have to take it regularly to control my cholesterol. Please guide me doctors.

Your lipid profile does not need medicines. It can be managed with lifestyle modifications like regular exercise,  weight control and dietary modifications

At your age lifestyle & dietary changes will help Medications, we can avoid if there is no family history
