Lipid profile
Hello Doc , This is my husband's report.. he has some family history like sugar thyroid and cholesterol heart attack.... so we wr going for a regular checkup (can anyone please have a look and suggest us ..is it ok or we need to go for more test ? Or any medicine, precautions.... I am little worried because he is not serious for his health .. that's why I want suggestions here first .. in lipid profile report almost everything was high .. that's my main concern ... Total cholesterol-230 Trigly-234.5 HDl-30.5 LDL-152.5 Cholesterol vldl-46.9 Cholesterol Hdl-7.9 Non Hdl-200 T3-53.9 Hydroxy Vitamin _-D 7.0 Glucose fasting -105.9 Estimated average glucose-157 Uric acid 7.6 Lymphocytes-42.2 Esoniophyl-7.4 Thank you in advance

The treatment depends on the age of the patient. And score of future cardiac events need to be calculated . If it’s low risk then it can be managed without medications. Vitamin d is also low. Tsh is not available. He needs proper evaluation.

Hello, He has high cholesterol and borderline blood sugar in pre diabetic range. He needs aggressive lifestyle modification in the form of regular exercise,  weight reductiom, stopping sugar, avoiding junk food, having high fiber diet, avoiding alcohol and smoking Take care
