Light period post stopping birth control
I have been taking Triquilar 21 for 5 years. I completed my last pack in June and decided to stop as we are planning a baby. I had my normal withdrawal bleed 5 days after stopping the pill. Then on July 10th night I got my periods but it has been very light. I am a menstrual cup user and usually I have to empty the cup 4 times a day the first 2 days. But this time the cup is barely filling in 12 hours. Is this expected after stopping the pill?

There can be decreased bleeding for a few months after you discontinue oral contraceptive. Please see the pattern of the cycles for another 3 months and then consult with a Gynaecologist, if required.
