Birth control
I recently got married so just want to know if it is safe to take birth control pills on a regular basis before or post intercourse? Or is there any other birth control method? We use protection, but just to be on a safe side. Please advise.

According to the way you have mention before or post intercourse I am thinking that you are asking about emergency contraception pills... so talking about emergency contraception pills, they are to be used in emergency situations and not on a regular basis... they have many side effects and also have high failure rates... chances of ectopic pregnancy is also high when you are on emergency contraception pill
Next Steps
if you desire a long term contraception on a regular basis like for at least one year or two you should be on regular pills and not the emergency contraception pills
