Age 47 Weight 77 kg always No other medications taken No diabetic T3  105 ng/dl T 4  6.7 ug/dl TSH  18.022 ulU/ml ++++++++++++++++ Total cholesterol 214.9mg/dl Triglycerides 123.6 HDL CHOLESTEROL 40.5 NON HDL CHOLESTEROL 174.4 LDL CHOLESTEROL 149.68 VLDL CHOLESTEROL 24.72 Dear Doctor Above is my thyroid test results the , am 47 years old , For this reading , is this a concern for me ? If the doctor suggest medication will it be life long ? Any symptoms I should be afraid of in future if I do not take medicine ?? Any prevailing symptoms I should be aware and recognise ?? Please help with your suggestions.

Thyroid tests showed under active thyroid or hypothyroid. Cholesterol levels are uncontrolled, which could be complication of un treated hypothyroidism, this increases risk for heart attacks and strokes.. It can cause several symptoms such as low energy level, weakness, constipation, depression, memory problems, weight gain, constipation, feeling cold, dry skin, hair loss, and slowing of heart rate and heart squeezing function in the long term if no medications are taken.
