Hello
My wife just reached 7 month praganecy.
after consluting the doctor we came to know that there was a small hole in baby's heart in 6 month of praganecy and which is now not visible in 7 month.
Also was saying there is no need to worry.
but i would like to know that, will there be any problem to the baby in future.
also the new report say " small { 2mm} echogenic focus in left ventricle less echogenic than bone echogenicity ( likely physiological variant).
i would like to know whats that mean and is there any problem.
if so what steps should we take care for my babe's future.
please help me out, as i am worried so much.

If u had posted ur wife ultrasound report I would have been able to suggest. A face to face second opinion with all prev reports is strongly recommended.

Such echogenic focus is a common finding in Asian pregnant womens sonogram.
The hole in babys heart and this can be best evaluated after birth. So relax and enjoy the pregnancy rather than worrying......
As your wife already crossed 7month now just think positive and concentrate on her health , as per report small echogenic foci can be physiological...once baby delivered have proper evaluation from paediatric cardiologist....
