Lesion and swelling on left thumb
Hello.
I have been having this skin lesion and swelling for about a month. Picture is enclosed here. I am diabetic and have been on insulin injections for a decade. I do not have any pain but it has been this way for around a month. Could you please tell me what this is

The photo which you have sent shows the proximal nail fold is involved, could be a fungal infection of nail that is onychomycosis, with paronychia. Is it painful? Kindly give details about your history via online consult and can come up with a treatment plan for you.
