I met with an severe road accident which resulted in breaking my left leg and dislocating the right elbow. Top part of left tibia bone become 20 pieces. Now that leg is 7-8 mm shorter than right leg. And when I stand straight with balancing weight on both the legs, this left knee goes backwards more than right knee. Is there any procedures to repair the damaged knee and also lengthening of the tibia?

lengthening of tibia is a complicated procedure with many side effects. it's not advisable for 7-8mm shortening. get a shoe rise on the affected side. for the buckling of knee consult an orthopaedician who can examine and suggest you the plan of treatment
