As soon as I get up after lying on the bed for some time, the outer thighs hurt. The pain radiates from just beside the hips. Also, it hurts for around 30 seconds and then goes away. This happens every time I get up from the bed after lying down for some time.

Pain can be due to iliotibial band tightness, which is like a band of tissue along the outer aspect of thigh- needs confirmation through detailed history and physical examination.
Next Steps
Better to get a consultation for greater clarity.
Till then, try to do some stretching before getting down from the bed.
