Left toe swollen and painful when walkin
For the past 2 months my Left toe is swollen. I had contacted a general physician and he had asked me to get a blood uric acid test to check the level as he suspected Gout. The reading was 7. The max limit being 8. He had asked me to take a medicine for a month to reduce the swelling and confirmed that it was gout. Even after taking the medicine for a month it hasn't come down. Instead it is now spreading across to second and 3rd toe from the big toe. I am worried and need help. Will video consultation with an Orthopedic doctor help or should I visit a doctor directly? Please suggest.
