Large amount of left plural effusion( approx 2 ltrs). I have attached the x ray report.
Can this much amount of water be evaporated with the help of medicines or do I need to get it removed through operation.

Initially, removing a small amount of fluid is essential to establish the diagnosis of Tuberculous Effusion. Moderate amount of Effusion as in this X-Ray will fully resolve, without needle aspiration, if the anti-TB treatment is completed satisfactorily.
