Left kidney cortical Cyst
Respected sirs and Madams, My father is having a cortical cyst in his left kidney of about 1.76 cm. (17 x 17 mm). Age :62 & 24hrs urine test came with the result 1150 mg (1.15 g)/24hrs Is it a very serious issue or can it be cured through medicine? Thanks in advance :)

Hi, the cortical cyst will not cause any problems. But the protein in urine (i assume it is protein) will cause problems. If it is due to urine infection, consult your family doctor. If it is due to prostate, see a urologist. If he is diabetic or hypertensive, Consult a physician or nephrologist.
