Left corner gum pain

Asked for Male, 30 Years

My gum on left side bottow row at the last end is aching, most probably a bone fragment or something sharp like fish thorn poked me there while chewing a few days ago. How many days will it take for the pain to subside. I'm afraid it could get infected and the pain could increase.
