Left ankle pain
Severe to mild pain in the ankle when walking or running. Previously it was shown to a doctor who recommended using soft soles. But of late it has started again.

Hello. As mentioned by your doctor already, most common cause of heel or ankle pain, is due to Plantar Fascitis, treatment for which is use of soft sole shoes/chappals. Avoid walking barefoot, even in indoors. You can use hot/cold compress over your ankle for relief from pain. Ankle pain may also be due to elevated uric acid or vid D deficiency. Please check serum Uric acid and Vit D levels and consult any rheumatologist or orthopedician for opinion. Hope this helps.
