Leech in stomach
I accidentally drink water from the rain water harvesting tank which was in the ground. A leech has entered my stomach because I saw a leech like thing while I was drinking the water. I was very thirsty so I ignored it for a while. But now I am in a great worry.What should I do now?. Do leech lay eggs in stomach? Will it suck blood in stomach?

The leech will not be able to survive if it enters the stomach as the stomach would absorb the nutrients and if there is any pathogen you may fall ill, but more likely that it would be normal. If the leech gets stuck on the esophagus you may spit clots. If you have any problems kindly visit the nearest ER at the earliest
