My son is doing +2 and has taken science group. we do not have TV at home. He is not clear nor discussed his goal with us or with his friends. a go easy type, spends most of the time on mobile, watching movies, chatting, etc. his grades are not good at school. he is goes to an Institute, there also his grades are not good. his teachers have given up and don't even complain anything.

As you have mentioned that he is not clear with his goals, you can try consulting a career counselor for better guidance about his subjects and future opportunities. Also avoid distractions during his study time. He can try scheduling his day with number of hours specifically devoted to studies and time can be allotted for his leisure activities.
