Dear Sir/madam,
My son is four years old.he is able to talk some words but not able to speak sentence. In his age most kids able to speak.And just joined L.K.G and he is not listening class and not willing to write and learn.
So do I need to consult psychiatry or pediatrician.please suggest doctor and name.

Sometimes it just can be due to the fact that children takes time to respond to the new environment. Give him sometime to adjust. If still not improving then you go and consult a psychologist who may refer you to a child psychiatrist later on. Some children can show signs of learning disability at an early age. Visit a psychologist first before anything. Let them asses. There’s no need to worry.
