LDL and triglyceride
What would be the possible range of LDL and triglyceride when actually statin medicine is required?? Kindly need your advice. Thank you.

At ur age LDL above 170-190 will need statin Triglycerides above 300

Hello, The statin requirement is not only based on LDL levels. It depends on age, gender, BP, blood sugar, smoking status etc. LDL level of 130 eg for you at 29 years age without any other illness is acceptable but the same level in a 60 years old who has diabetes is high and needs statins. I hope i am clear. You being a 29 years old and assuming you do not have any other medical illness you only need statins if your LDL is above 190.
