**Dear Patient,**  Chronic constipation (going only once in 2-3 days) along with improper digestion and stunted growth is a serious concern that needs proper evaluation and management. This could be due to:  - **Dietary factors** (low fiber/fluid intake)  - **Lifestyle habits** (lack of physical activity, ignoring urge)  - **Medical conditions** (hypothyroidism, IBS, motility disorders)  - **Nutritional deficiencies** affecting growth  ### **Recommended Steps for Immediate Relief:**  1. **Dietary Changes:**     - Drink **3-4 liters of water daily** (start with warm water in morning).     - Eat **high-fiber foods** (fruits, vegetables, whole grains, flaxseeds).     - Include **probiotics** (curd, buttermilk, fermented foods).  2. **Lifestyle Modifications:*    - **Exercise daily** (even a 30-minute walk helps bowel movement).     - **Don’t suppress the urge** – visit the toilet at a fixed time daily.  3. **Short-Term Aids (if needed):**     - **Psyllium husk (Isabgol)** – 1-2 tsp with warm water at bedtime.     - **Lactulose/Sorbitol syrup** (only if no relief with above measures). **When to Seek Consultation:**  Since this has been ongoing for **2 years** and is affecting your growth, you need:  - A **detailed medical history and physical examination**  - **Tests** (thyroid function, stool tests, growth hormone if needed)  - **Personalized treatment** (may include supplements, prokinetics)  **For proper evaluation and a long-term solution, contact me on WhatsApp at "Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two".**
