Lasik flap related concern
Is the flap created during the surgery performed by the femtosecond laser. Can dislocation of flap in future.? Flap cut during the epithelium layer of cornea can cause damage to eye nerves?. Is the Flap has been healed completely after the surgery ? This are all the doubt regarding the surgery.kindly support me in clarification in my queries

Hello A. Yes,flap is created during femtolasik B. Flap dislocation in future is very rare. It may happen with trauma to eye C.eye nerves are cut during flap creation D. Flap heals but cornea being an avascular tissue never heals completely.we can lift flap anytime in future

Flap is created during the procedure.There are less side effects. Pl do not worry. All procedure have their own side effects. Pl consult your lasik surgeon.
