Lameness in right leg after hip fracture
My brother broke his pelvis bone and dislocated hip around three months ago. Doctor used traction method to heal the broken leg. After 2 months the doctor said to use walker for walking and then move on to stick. In recent check up the doctor said that walk using stick, but there is pain in the heel and lameness in the leg. I asked doctor wether to consult physiotherapist to improve the movement of leg, swelling in foot and pain in heel. But he said it's not needed. Should I consult physiotherapist to get rid of heel pain, swelling in foot, and restoring gait and limping? Attached image of recent x-ray.
