My baby is 24 days old. Initially 2-3 days post-partum i was advised to take 2 Lactare tablets thrice daily to increase milk production. Was told to stop once breasts feel heavy and start paining. I discontinued after 2 days. My milk supply up until 2 days back was ok as baby was feeding well. But since last 2-3 days looks like my baby is not getting enough milk as he immediately asks for more milk after a regular 20-25 mins feeding session.
Can I now resume having lactare tablets since it worked for me last time?
Also how long should I be taking them and in what dose?
