Lactation consultation
I am 7 .5 months pregnant. I am facing some confusions from now only that how to breastfeed my new born baby especially regarding the use of breast pump. From which time I can use a breast pump ? And which pump will be better and how many times I should pump every day to keep milk supply regular for my baby? Is it ok to feed only pumped milk or should I maintain both the practices of pumped milk and direct feeding ?

Hi, you will be able to produce adequate amount of milk post delivery, have a healthy nutritious diet and be well hydrated, breast pump will be advised post natal depending upon need, nothing to worry about it now. Stay relaxed, well rested and well hydrated. Do consult lactation counsellor or consultant for further assistance.
