Combination cough syrups are not recommend for children till 4-6 yrs of age if required should be given under guidance. So for 6 months it’s contraindicated. If there’s nose block you can use nasi Lear saline drops and if there is cough kindly consult your paediatrician.

Kindly avoid combination cough syrup till atleast 4 to 5 years of age
