Knee swelling
My mother is having knee pain and swelling. When she took any pain killer or apply any ointment, its reduced. But swelling and pain increased when she walks or doing any work in home. Is it related to neuro or Ortho? What kind of treatment required. Please suggest.

X ray knee is needed ,it appears to be ortho problem. Dont take OTC medications too much,not good in view of age and if any other comorbid illness if she have.
