Knee surgery Pseudomonas aeruginosa infe
Grandma undergone for knee replaced surgery 2months begore, who is 100kg of obesity. 3rd fall on floor lost blood, stitch opened and discharge with same. 10days later sudden water leakage from wound. Consult doctor on 15th day all stitches removed. After month with antibiotics she is ok, can walk with walker. Suddenly 2months git fever, chilliness, swelling Leakage started and done culture test, Pseudomonas aeruginosainfection in water and Escherichia coli at urine. Last one month dressing with Tab Levofloxacin 750mg   0-0-1 Tab Faronem 200mg 1-0-1 tablets giving. Does infection will come down or it might spread all over body.? We are looking for surgeon to reoperation to replace the infected material. How infection react.? Pain remain same and swelling present. Wound closing outside..

The implant seems to be infected... will need a thorough wash out and a two stage revision surgery after the infection has settled( 1st stage removal of implants and spacer device and antibiotics) 2 nd stage will be reimplantation of fresh new prosthesis.
