Knee replacement
Hello Doctor My mother is 63 years old and having severe knee pain.Doctor has advised for knee replacement for both knees but she is scared of the surgery because she is having more weight 80 kg and height is 5.1 .So is it safe to do the knee replacement for her ? Also what is the difference between robotic knee Replacement and other normal knee replacement ?What is the recovery time ? Thanks and regards

first will need to see xrays whether it can be conserved or surgery is needed! if you go for surgery then robotic and normal is almost same no problem in that surgery is done by surgeon not by robot it just help in taking femoral and tibial cuts accurately . after all recovery time is immediate. can walk with walker .
