Knee pain occurred 2 weeks before
My mother is 72 yrs old. She have hyper thyroid and joint pains is a regular problem. But from last 2 weeks her left knee have ache for which she did all kind of home remedies and also went to GP who gave her an injection which was just a painkiller. She have Vata problem and also in her medical history she had been operated for gall bladder removal for stones.

Considering her age knee pain could be due to 2 reasons either knee arthritis or due degenerative changes in her back causing the radiating pain. Detailed evaluation will be required.
