Hello I had a ACL tear surgery back In November 2012 I have still not recovered from my injury and I still get jerks when I play cricket or football. I consulted with my doctor, he gave me medicines and suggested physiotherapy but problem still exist.

Some times post reconstruction laxity of ligament is possible ,in such situations you will have persistent instability,that's more common in hamstring graft ,consult orthopedic surgeon get evaluated by clinical examination,if it is more laxity ,may require reconstruction

Well..
Depending on the severity of the injury healing will take place..I assume it is first or second degree as you are only on medicines... Continue physiotherapy and hope you have given ample rest for it for healing...please follow-up with the doctor
