In the pain is below the knee joint line it may be due to weakening of Bones. This may arise due to low vitamin D levels. I would suggest that you get your vitamin D levels checked fasting and take adequate supplements if the levels are low. Also do quadriceps strengthening exercises for the knee. If pain persists see an orthopedic surgeon for further evaluation.
