Hello there A very good question asked..... well some of the implants related to the cardiac system like pacemakers, infusion cathetors and any brain implant are a definate no for MRI....but certain orthopaedic implants may or may not pass the test. The best person to address the issue would be the Radiologist and an experienced MRI technician who you should make aware of the implants you have in your elbow. Regards
