Knee Joint Pain
Hi ,I am 29 years old and I have knee pain since almost 17 years. Last year I got the MRI done and the report said : Horizontal tear of posterior horn and oblique tear of body of medial meniscus with a parameniscal cyst posterior to medial meniscus. Somehow I could not consult a doctor after the MRI. I would like to know what does this report mean and if the condition is treatable. Thank You for your help.

If you have pain, symptoms of locking, and repeated swelling then you need to undergo surgery - removal of meniscus via telescopic surgery. Get consultation from surgeon for assessment with a recent mri.
